In this blog I’m here with another book review for you the book is obviously where the karela dads sing by Delia Owens I have it in hardcover I have been seeing it mostly in stores on hardcover but it did not come out about a year ago I think August of 2018 so it should be coming out and paper both back if it's not already out which I think it is so checked that out see if you can buy it and paperback and it's beautiful I think the cover is really nice and also the author her name is Delia Owens and I believe this is her debut novel I think that she's written some memoirs before and she is a Zoologist and I know that she has done stuff like that but I believe this is her first fiction novel and she's from Georgia and what else did I write about her she has a strong knowledge of animals and conservation she's a zoologist this is just from what was the read online we have another platform to read online books like It ends with us pdf
I read online and I think that that had a huge impact on her writing style also I think it's been on the New York bestsellers list for weeks and weeks a week so a lot of people seem to like this book although from what I read online there are some mixed reviews which there always will be so that's your little quick and narrow about the author of the book now let's get into the setting and also the plopped takes place in southern North Carolina in a very small rural rural rural town on the coast and she talked about the marsh a lot which is gonna be the area mostly where if you guys do not know North Carolina has a lot of waterways and just areas where these waterways run into the ocean so I think those are mostly what she's talking about there's tons of different wildlife there and these areas are very bio diverse and it's really interesting to hear how she talks about them and I find it very interesting I grew up you know when my grandma taking me to these areas and they are still there today a lot of the land in North Carolina is protected which is really cool because that is another thing in the book that she talks about now let's go move into the actual plot of the story so a lot of the book revolves around a girl name is Chaya or Catherine but she goes by Chaya in the book and the story is actually a really sad one and it kind of talks about her living in the marsh with her family she has a mother father and some siblings and pretty soon into the book Chaya finds herself all on her own here's what I wrote in some of my notes so um her life at home was fearful and lonely after her family member slowly leave her one by one she learns to adapt and fend for herself while making a few social connections other than the nature around her she is very wild at heart and she does not attend school another big point in the plot that I wanted to hit on is that a lot of the community is very prejudiced towards her so they call her marsh girl and they have these views in her head because she lives there and she has not had anyone to take care of her she does not dress the same way as then she does not act the same way as them that they tease her they call her marsh girl they think she's crazy they want to know what she's running around out there doing she does have some connections that really delve deeper.If you want a guest post for Education Write for us then contact this website.
